a1a) 1stCor. 14:7-12[WSV], “7And even [like] things without life giving [that produce] sound, whether pipe [horn] or harp [stringed instrument], except they give an [accurate] distinction in the sounds [their tones and notes], how shall it be known what [tune] is piped or harped [played]?  8For if the [battle] trumpet gives [sounds] an uncertain sound [tune], who shall prepare himself to [themselves for] the battle [at hand]?  9So likewise you, except you utter by the tongue words easy to be understood [the gospel of Christ in an accurate, unambiguous, connective, and directive manner], how shall it be known what is spoken [the Truth is, or the locations and situations of the crucial battles in life]for You shall speak [be speaking] into the air {nonsense and confusion to the hearer [immersed in a void of non-connected ‘communication’ (a blabberer)]}10There are, it may be, so many kinds [is a great variety] of [philosophical] voices in the world, and none of them is without signification [purpose and impact]11Therefore[,] if I do not know the meaning of [clear message and purpose of] the voice [communicating Christ to me], I shall be [a barbarian (illiterate in language, understanding, and culture)] unto him [(ignorant and worthless to the cause of) them] that speaks a barbarian [Pastor, Evangelist, preacher, teacher, witness, example], and he [they] that speaks shall be a barbarian [without authority; no leader; a mere distraction (a noisemaker)] unto me.  12Even so you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts [to achieve spiritual proficiency], seek[, with full desire and purpose in your personal life first (Ex.18:20; 2ndTim.2:5-6), to] that you may excel {in the accurate doctrine of Christ and knowledgeable and appropriate use of the Spiritual gifts [the spiritual gifts God has seen fit to make available to you (based upon your God-given assignment and your degree of authentic unity relationship with (submission to) Him – Mt.6:33; 1stCor.12:7-11; 2ndCor.9:8; Eph.4:1-15; 2ndTim.2:4-7; Heb.2:4)], in order that you may truly} to the edifying [communicate with, educate, sanctify, empower, and embolden] of the Church [the ‘body’ of Christ – all those whose purpose in life is to grow and mature in relation/fellowship with Christ] [toward Spiritual maturity].”

a1b) 1stCor.14:7-12[EV], 7And even like things without life that produce sound, whether horn or stringed instrument, except they give an accurate distinction in their tones and notes, how shall it be known what tune is played?  8For if the battle trumpet sounds an uncertain tune, who shall prepare themselves for the battle at hand?  9So likewise you, except you utter by the tongue the gospel of Christ in an accurate, unambiguous, connective, and directive manner, how shall it be known what the Truth is, or the locations and situations of the crucial battles in life?  You shall be speaking nonsense and confusion to the hearer110There is a great variety of philosophical voices in the world, and none of them is without purpose and impact.  11Therefore, if I do not know the clear message and purpose of the voice communicating Christ to me, I shall be a barbarian1 unto 2them that speak3, and them that speak shall be a barbarian4 unto me.  12Even so you, since you are zealous to achieve spiritual proficiency, seek, with full desire and purpose in your personal life firstS, to excel in the accurate doctrine of Christ and knowledgeable and appropriate use of the Spiritual gifts1, in order that you may truly communicate with, educate, sanctify, empower, and embolden the Church2 toward Spiritual maturity.”

1stCorinthians, 14:9(1) immersed in a void of non-connected ‘communication’ [a blabberer]; 14:11(1) illiterate in language, understanding, and culture; 14:11(2) ignorant and worthless to the cause of; 14:11(3) Pastor, Evangelist, preacher, teacher, example, witness; 14:11(4) without authority; no leader; a mere distraction [a noisemaker]; 14:12(s) Ex.18:20; 2ndTim.2:5-6; 14:12(1) the spiritual gifts God has seen fit to make available to you [based upon your God-given assignment and your degree of authentic unity relationship with (submission to) Him – Mt.6:33; 1stCor.12:7-11; 2ndCor.9:8; Eph.4:1-15; 2ndTim.2:4-7; Heb.2:4]; 14:12(2) the ‘body’ of Christ – all those whose purpose in life is to grow and mature in relationship/fellowship with Christ

a2) The greatest injustice [evil] we can perpetrate upon someone is to promote concepts that cause them to think they are born again when they are actually not.

[[Declaration: ‘Religion’ is “A generally recognized term typically used to reflect a form of deity worship, or the scrupulous performance of a task or perceived duty.”

The terms ‘religion’ or ‘religious’ can apply to every philosophical belief, organization, and/or lifestyle that is followed.  Sadly, because of the present ‘relativism’ mindset in our culture [which, to our detriment, has crept into the Christian church], the definition of ‘Christian religion’ [along with other otherwise polarizing words like “right, wrong, good, bad, righteousness, evil, absolute, relative, etc.”] has taken on the ambiguity of individual interpretation, instead of being based on the authentic-to-Christ’s-gospel Biblical standard.

Currently, when a person says, “I am devoutly religious,” they could mean they are a to-the-core-of-their-being practitioner and advocate of a hedonistic lifestyle, or some other ‘religion’.  They could also mean they are a pious hypocrite using spiritual sounding and compelling words to draw others into their self-aggrandizing hypocrisy; or they could even be declaring themselves to be a truly compassionate and sincere follower of the gospel of Christ Jesus.

In spite of its original parity with righteousness, faithfulness, and devotion to God and humanity, the current generally understood concept of ‘religion’, in all its applications, is contaminated.  Therefore, the definitions of all things associated with the term ‘religion’ are also contaminated.  The main cause of this contamination, as it involves the ‘Christian religion’, is not just the result of intentional unjustified sabotage by unbelievers [although such sabotage has been a result of the contamination].  The true origin of the contamination is the corruption [which is correctly discerned by the secular and ‘religious’ aspect of pagan cultures in our land and elsewhere] of original Christ-issued doctrinal precepts, perpetrated by those inside the Christian community who use Christian Scripture and Scripturally slanted jargon, for personal gain and to prey upon the innocence and the good intentions of those who desire to truly find and follow Christ and the Father God.

Because of this contamination, I am sadly compelled to relegate ‘religion’ to the group of words that have negative connotation: as the pagan dialectic [because of aberrant ‘Christian’ teaching and behavior] has already been successful in doing.  Rather than me having to continually place ‘religion’ and ‘religious’ within quotes to indicate an other-than-assumed righteousness-oriented Christian-religious-jargon meaning in this work, I will explain here the definition the secular, pagan, and hedonist aspects of world culture have already equated with ‘religion’.  It is to our advantage to know what our language sounds like to the other-than-‘Christian-religious’ cultures.  Spiritual maturity in Christ is Life-giving, but ‘religion’, Christian or otherwise, results in spiritual death.  Therefore, to make clear the distortion of true Christianity that is produced in the mind’s eye of the world through ‘Christian religion’, the following definition is the one I will apply to all my uses of the word ‘religion’ in the following, unless otherwise clearly state in the text.  This will become more apparent as we continue.

“‘Religion’ = Politics camouflaged in spiritual sounding rhetoric [playing politics (saying and doing whatever it takes to get ‘elected’) with the spiritual yearnings people have for the true leadership of, and true fellowship with, God].”]]
